So I was more than happy when photographer Ernest Simons asked me to style gorgeous Nana for a project with Sky ‘OHtv’.
At this point I am getting into more of a flow with photoshoots independently, and i though why not take opportunities which give you more experience *grin* and of course… I never leave you guys out!!
So as I was taught, I done a lil’ research on Nana at the competition and decided to bring a gorgeous Spring Summer 2011 look to the shoot with an African twist.
Above are the moodboards I created which give the looks for Make up, Hair and clothes/poses!!
Psssssssst…….. So here is a lil’ sneak peak at the clothing and accessories that were on the set!
So here is the First look…
This look was a Henry Holland shirt, N’kya Designs Bag and Primark leather style shorts.
It was inspired by SS11 Safari look. It was fresh, minimal and chiq, and gave her freedom to move and get used to the camera.
This second look was inspired by the ss11 70’s Colour Blocking trend.
The look was a Primark sheer shirt, River Island belt, Topshop maxi skirt and N’kya Designs clutch!!
It was fun fresh and sexy… it was definitely a look that Nana hadn’t done before and i could tell she enjoyed it!!
At this point… everyone wanted to eat… *smh at the KFC bucket that Nana requested* where is the SALAD!!! (yeah right i hear you say)
The third look was inspired by Topshop’s Snake valley look. I love the Boho//70’s feel to this look!!
The outfit was Vintage sunglasses, Primark Crop top and fringe bag, Topshop sheer Maxi skirt and Warehouse knee-high sandals!!
This fourth look was inspired by ss11 70’s trend. to bring some life and colour i used the bright blue formal jacket to bring a chiq ‘disco’ element to it.
The outfit had a gorgeous Vintage jacket i picked up from Rokit Vintage, leggings from Orion (Topshop) and exclusive Sample heels from River Island!! *faints*
So look out for more info on this project for OHTV!!
and of course grab these gorgeous pieces in your nearest high street store!
